IANTD Technical Sidemount Instructor

The IANTD Technical Sidemount Instructor Development Course prepares certified instructors to competently teach Technical Sidemount diving. The program emphasizes the safe application of sidemount configurations for decompression and technical dives, while developing mastery of advanced diving techniques and safety procedures specific to this discipline.

PREREQUISITES:

Age Requirement:

  • Must be a minimum of 18 years of age.

Certification Requirements:

  • IANTD Advanced EANx Instructor or higher or equivalent.
  • Must be qualified as an Tek Open Water Sidemount Diver or higher.

Dive Experience:

  • Proof of a minimum of 150 logged dives and at least 25 dives on Tek OW Sidemount System to be
    used in the class.

Duration:

  • The program shall span at least two (2) days and require no fewer than two 92) dives for completion.
