IANTD Adv Cave - Diver Propulsion Vehicle (DPV) Instructor

The IANTD Adv Cave – Diver Propulsion Vehicle (DPV) Instructor course is an advanced program designed to prepare experienced divers to effectively teach the safe use of DPVs, with particular applications in technical and cave diving environments. The course develops both theoretical knowledge and practical skills, ensuring Instructor Candidates can train divers to operate DPVs with a strong emphasis on safety, efficiency, and environmental responsibility.

PREREQUISITES:

Age Requirement:

  • Must be a minimum of 21 years of age.

Certification Requirements:

  • Must be an IANTD Technical Cave Instructor.
  • Must be an IANTD Advanced Cave Diver Propulsion Vehicle Diver

Dive Experience:

  • Have a Minimum of 200 logged cave dives of which 100 were Advanced Cave Diver Propulsion
    Vehicle non-training dives.
  • Must have taught a minimum of five (5) Technical Cave Diver courses

Duration:

  • The evaluation process of this comprehensive program designed to guide instructor candidates in the methods and techniques for training IANTD Advanced Cave Diver Propulsion Vehicle divers typically spans over a period of three (3) day.
