IANTD Adv Cave - Stage/Multi-Stage Instructor

The IANTD Advanced Cave – Stage/Multi-Stage Instructor Development Course provides specialized training for certified and experienced cave divers who are preparing to lead dives involving staged cylinders and advanced staging techniques. The program emphasizes mastery of skills including gas planning and management for extended-range penetration, decompression strategies, complex line and navigation procedures, cylinder handling in restricted passages, and effective emergency response protocols.

PREREQUISITES:

Age Requirement:

Must be a minimum of 21 years of age.

Certification Requirements:

Must be an IANTD Technical Cave Instructor.
Must be an IANTD Advanced Cave Stage/Multi-Stage Diver

Dive Experience:

Have a Minimum of 200 logged cave dives of which 100 were Advanced Cave Stage/Multi-Stage
non-training dives.
Must have taught have taught a minimum of five (5) Technical Cave Diver courses

Duration:

This program provides the instructor candidate with in-depth guidance on the methods and techniques for training Advanced Cave – Stage/Multi-Stage Divers. The evaluation period typically spans an average of three (3) days.
