IANTD Adv Cave - Sidemount Instructor

This program is designed to train and certify IANTD Advanced Cave Sidemount Instructors. It emphasizes mastery of advanced sidemount cave diving techniques while developing the ability to teach them effectively, ensuring candidates are fully prepared to train future divers in safe gas management and navigation through restrictive cave environments.

PREREQUISITES:

Age Requirement:

  • Must be a minimum of 21 years of age.

Certification Requirements:

  • Must be an IANTD Technical Cave Instructor.
  • Must be an IANTD Advanced Cave Sidemount & No Mount Diver.

Dive Experience:

  • Have a Minimum of 200 logged cave dives of which 100 were Advanced Cave Sidemount & No
    Mount non-training dives.
  • Must have taught a minimum of five (5) Technical Cave Diver courses

Duration:

  • A comprehensive program focused on developing instructor candidates in the methods and techniques for training IANTD Advanced Cave Sidemount Divers. The program typically spans an average of three (3) days of evaluation.
